SiteGen Features
Below are some of the standard features of SiteGen. There are many modules available to customize SiteGen including: a language translation module, multimedia integration and our event registration & ticketing system to name a few. Page Manager
The Page Manager is the "command central" of the SiteGen content management system. This is where the site administrator adds, deletes or modifies web pages. Content, pictures, images and hyperlinks and many other details about a page are handled here. Logging on to SiteGen gives you a bird's eye view of your website's entire navigation.
File Manager
Much like a desktop computer environment, you can create folders to organize your files, photos, and graphics using SiteGen's File Manager. Your documents will be highly accessible since they will be saved within the CMS, thereby allowing information, photos, and graphics to be changed quickly and easily.
Press Manager
SiteGen will be your new partner in corporate communications. Our Press Manager will allow you to post a press release or news item right to your website. Store boilerplate information to streamline the process and ensure consistent communications. The Press Manager gives options to post a release right away or embargo for later distribution.
Member Manager
The Member Manager helps clients to manage various groups interacting with a website. Groups can be segmented by desired access— for example employees may be given permission to view certain pages through a password protected log in or visitors may access downloads after registering with the company.
Newsletter Manager
Support your eMail marketing efforts by allowing visitors to your site to subscribe to your newsletter. The subscriber's information is automatically saved into a database that can be viewed, edited, and exported into Excel.
Dynamic Menus
We will choose a menu style based on the design and layout of your website. Menus are dynamically generated as pages are added or removed. A menu can include dropdown elements, subpages, or a custom style.
Photo Galleries
The photo tools within SiteGen allow you to take photos from a digital camera and display them in one of our sleek online photo gallery styles. No need to resize -- just upload the photo and SiteGen will size and optimize the photo for you. We also have tools to edit your images should you want to crop or rotate them, or covert to greyscale for example.
Graphic Calendar
SiteGen lets users quickly add events to a calendar that can can be used to communicate with customers or employees in a company. The calendar has three different views in which to see events daily, weekly, and monthly.
Inline Editing
The inline editing feature allows a SiteGen user to browse normally through their website and make quickly make changes. Once logged into the administrator, right-clicking gives you the option to edit, add, or delete a page. Once changes are saved you can see the updated version of the website immediately.
Contact Form
Support your sales team with a contact form that lets customers and clients reach you about their specific needs— and at their convenience. Our contact forms automatically protect against spam and include posting a privacy policy as to how your company will use collected information. Our contact form also lets you track how visitors found your site to better evaluate your marketing efforts.
